BRIEF HISTORY The Special series started with hull # 503 - #784 in 1972 to 1996. The hull was lengthened with a more raked transom that incorporated both the bathing steps and a convenient bathing platform, anticipating a solution that is now used universally... A total number of 277 boats were built during this period of time.
