The 4700
Sport Yacht is above else a robust, reliable and brilliantly
engineered vessel. It is a boat in which you can have supreme
confidence. The running surface of the hull has been designed by
esteemed international naval architect Frank Mulder and features
tunnels that house the propellers, an ingenious design that provides
more forward thrust, superior fuel efficiency and a wonderfully
stable ride.
This stability is enhanced by having a large-capacity, mid-mounted
fuel tank for extended range. This boat is made for serious voyages
as well as playful day cruising.
Other
design features have also minimized noise such as underwater
exhausts, larger shafts, precision engineered Veem propellers and an
improved shaft bracket and rudder design all contribute to a
blissfully smooth, quiet ride. Even the new structurally engineered
engine room liner enhances equipment location and ongoing
maintenance.
The relentless pursuit of perfecting our craft is evident in so many
details – for instance, small fiberglass components like hatches and
the swim platform are now made with a new injection moulding process
to create a stronger component with a better double-sided finish.
Although the Sport Yachts reflect the solid character and stable
ride of the world-famous Flybridge Convertibles, they also
incorporate the spirited performance of the Sport Cruisers. The 4700
Sport Yacht is as agile and exhilarating as it is sure and steady.

from hard wood with planks on frame construction and painted as the
real boat. The fittings are brass chromed. This model is not a kit and
ready for display.
